One (1) yearly residential garage overhead door lube and adjust including:
- Lubrication of existing rollers, hinges, springs and track.
- Test door balance and adjust springs (as needed).
- Operate door manually, make any track adjustments (as needed).
- Operate door with existing motor, make any limit or force adjustments (as needed).
- Inspect and adjust electric photo eye alignment (as needed).
- Conduct a visual inspection of the existing door sections and components, including but not limited to hinges, struts, rollers, cables, fasteners, track and wall mount brackets, bottom seal and retainer, springs, drums, torsion tube, and ceiling mounts. Also visually inspect the motor unit, covering elements such as the outer motor and/ or light cover, low voltage wiring, belt or chain rail assembly, “J” arm, electric photo eyes, and wall button.
- Develop a plan, determine pricing, and communicate preventative maintenance issues identified during the visual inspection to the customer, including their AMP discount on eligible parts and labor.
Items/Services Not Included
- Fixing/replacing pre-existing broken or malfunctioning parts including but not limited to damaged or broken doors sections, hinges, struts, rollers, cables, fasteners, track and wall mount brackets, bottom seal and retainer, springs, drums, torsion tube, and ceiling mounts.
- Diagnostic assessments for pre-existing motor issues related to the motor assembly, gear and sprocket, motherboard, or other problems that necessitate removing the motor and/or light cover.
Labor warranties for past door installations, which included a one-year warranty, are not extended or covered under the AMP program. Additionally, no warranty coverage or extension is implied for existing doors, motors, or their associated parts.
